Not much new to report.  College is still taking most of my time and energy.

This was my submission for my Computer Graphics I class, we were asked to create a portrait from an image with vectors in Adobe Illustrator. Preferably a self-portrait but I’m too self conscious to spend hours staring at a picture of myself.

If you don’t recognise her, this is Amanda Palmer, I got the original image from deviantart here.  Took me something between 35 – 40 hours to complete.

Comic wise, I havn’t been making much progress at all.. School is taking pretty much all my creative energy.  However, doing this project has got me thinking about doing the comic in vectors. It’s quite natural to create them in Illustrator, much easier than Photoshop.  I still have to play around though and establish my own style, as while I am quite proud of this image, id rather be creating something completely natural on my own rather than tracing another image.

I am thinking of creating a Deviantart account for my projects.  Stay tuned for a link if and when I do.
